Privacy
Startljus is a driving game made by the studio Loafr, which is responsible for it (the controller of the data below). It is built to need as little about you as possible.
What stays on your device
- Your settings, your best laps and their ghosts and your replays are kept in the browser or app storage on your device. They are not sent anywhere unless you use the online leaderboard.
- The game uses no advertising, no analytics and no tracking of any kind.
Your Loafr Account (optional)
- Signing in is done with the Loafr Account, the studio's one account for all its games, on the website (race.loafr.app). You sign in at the Loafr Account service (loafr.app), which keeps your session in a cookie on loafr.app; Startljus itself stores no password or session of its own. The account, its e-mail address and any purchases (the Startljus full version, Loafr Plus) are handled by the Loafr Account service and its payment provider, not by Startljus. You manage them at loafr.app.
- When you use the online features, the Startljus server (on race.loafr.app, which your browser sends the Loafr session cookie to) asks the Loafr Account service who is signed in, and keeps only your account's id, its display name and whether it has the Startljus full version. It keeps a one-way hash of your session for a few minutes so it does not have to ask on every request. It does not keep your e-mail address, your real name, your photo or your payment details.
- The Android, iPhone and Windows apps have no sign-in and sell nothing for now: they are the free demo, and send nothing to the leaderboard.
What Startljus keeps with your account
- On the leaderboard: your display name, your best time per track and car, the recording of that lap (your steering, pedal and gear inputs, used to check the time, to let others race your ghost and watch your lap), and which driving assists you used. Laps that would enter a board's top 10 wait for a person to review them.
- Your driver profile, so every device adds to it: distance and time driven, laps, races, wins and podiums (counted per device, under a random device id), your best lap per track and car, and the medals and driving-school stars you won.
- Online races: who drove in a race and where they finished.
- The weekly challenges' times, and custom tracks you share from the track editor (a track, not who made it).
Deleting your data
- In the game: Leaderboard → Settings → Delete my Startljus data. This removes everything above from the server immediately: your times and ghosts on every track (the weekly challenges' too), laps waiting for review, your driver profile and your online results.
- Your Loafr Account itself is not deleted by this: it is managed at loafr.app.
- To delete both: Leaderboard → Settings (or Driver profile) → Delete my account. This first deletes your Startljus data as above and then, where your browser's Loafr Account client supports it, your Loafr Account itself (which is shared by all Loafr products and the purchases tied to it); otherwise you are signed out and told to delete the account at loafr.app.
- Data on your device is removed by uninstalling the app or clearing the site's data in your browser.
- If you cannot open the game, write to hello@loafr.app and we will delete it for you.
Children
The game does not knowingly collect personal information from children. A display name should not be a real name.

מה נשאר במכשיר שלכם

מה Startljus שומר עם החשבון
- בטבלת השיאים: שם התצוגה, הזמן הטוב ביותר לכל מסלול ורכב, הקלטת ההקפה (היגוי, דוושות והילוכים, כדי לבדוק את הזמן ולאפשר לאחרים לנהוג מול הרוח שלכם ולצפות בהקפה), והעזרים שהיו פעילים. הקפות שייכנסו לעשרה הראשונים בטבלה ממתינות לבדיקה של אדם.
- פרופיל הנהג, כדי שכל מכשיר יוסיף לו: מרחק וזמן נהיגה, הקפות, מרוצים, ניצחונות ופודיומים (לפי מכשיר, תחת מזהה מכשיר אקראי), ההקפה הטובה לכל מסלול ורכב, והמדליות והכוכבים מבית הספר.
- מרוצים מקוונים: מי נהג במרוץ ובאיזה מקום סיים.
- זמני האתגרים השבועיים, ומסלולים ששיתפתם מעורך המסלולים (המסלול, לא מי בנה אותו).
מחיקת המידע
- בתוך המשחק: טבלת שיאים ← הגדרות ← מחיקת הנתונים שלי ב־Startljus. כל מה שלמעלה נמחק מהשרת מיד: הזמנים והרוחות בכל המסלולים (גם של האתגרים השבועיים), הקפות שממתינות לבדיקה, פרופיל הנהג והתוצאות המקוונות.
- חשבון Loafr עצמו לא נמחק כך: מנהלים אותו ב־loafr.app.
- המידע שבמכשיר נמחק בהסרת האפליקציה או בניקוי נתוני האתר בדפדפן.

ילדים
המשחק לא אוסף ביודעין מידע אישי מילדים. שם תצוגה לא צריך להיות שם אמיתי.
